Different problem solving experiments for an ear patient!

The 3D scanner wasn’t up to par with the traditional impressions on this occasion. So we used plaster cast from the traditional impressions to scan the sound side for the patient, and then using 3D software we mirrored the image. This was a really fun way to experiment with blending my digital skills with my maxillofacial work further.

This was our first time sculpting on a 3D print from our new 3D printer. Printed from a scan I took in an appointment with the patient using our 3D scanner!

I’ve always been proud of this clip as it was my first proper use of rigs in my animations this but I think I could do it better so hopefully I’ll be able to remake this in the near future.
